RichText in description field.

An nice enhancement to Plone would be RichText in description field. Was discussed before at Quills Enabled forum and there is stated that “This should probably be filed as a request for enhancement to Plone” : http://⇚⇍.⇒.ws. So I hereby request for this enhancement. Would be great to be able to have images and video in the description field by default. Makes it more easy to choose Plone over an other CMS ore blogengines.

        What Vitally Prodoba said is correct, you may benefit from jQuery's text() & html() functions.

        Perhaps it could have both, the standard text and a html version for use where that is supported, i.e. when viewing the page or in the summary view.

        That may be not a good idea taking into account that standard description field is being used for page meta description tag, which breaks with html code in it.
