Plone should…

Install Plone products through the web

It should be possible to install new Plone products within Plone interface without editing buildout.cfg.
(The reality is that drupal, joomla, wordpress, typo3 have this option). Auto check for updates.

I endorse this 100%. The most recent conversations I've had regarding Plone go something like this:
Newbie: I've installed Plone using the Windows/OS X installer, how do I add a product?
Me: You'll need to use buildout
Newbie: so I can't just drop something into a folder somewhere?
Me: No, you really need to learn about buildout
Newbie: Is there a point and click interface for buildout?
        Me: No.. it's commandline based
Newbie: Wow! This Plone thing is much more complicated than wordpress, I was able to install stuff with wordpress.

This is a good idea, complications like having to deal with the filesystem is one of the main reasons Plone is not utilized as much as the aforementioned content management systems, in my humble opinion.
